My Journey Through Dance Programs and Late-Night Adventures

I really enjoy watching dance and singing programs, especially those in the Santali language. Although I don’t know how to dance, I do sing, but whether I sing well or badly, I don’t know—only those who hear me would know. Whenever there is a dance program and I find out about it, I can't rest until I go, which is why I attend all such programs.

So far, I have attended various events such as the Baripada Jagadhatri Mela, Mayurbhanj Utsav, Baripada Film Festival, Bhubaneswar Chhilkaw Santali Program, Belposi Pata, Jharkhand Film Festival, Bhubaneswar Baha and Sohray Festival, Rairangpur Masa Birsole, Jharkhand Johar Night Program, Baripada Santali Artist Program, etc.

Once, I went to Jharkhand to watch a program. The program was at night, and I had no relatives there. The program ended at 1:30 AM. I thought the program would last all night, so I planned to stay there, but it ended at midnight. I then walked to the railway station, which was very far away. I don’t remember the exact distance, but it took me 3 hours to reach the station. I was walking alone at night, and anything could have happened to me on the way, but thankfully nothing happened as God was with me. I stayed at the railway station until morning and then took the train back to the hostel.

When I was at the hostel, I could roam around freely, but I couldn't go anywhere from home.

Another memory I have is from when I went to Bhubaneswar to attend the Chhilkaw program. The program ended at midnight, and that night, I went to my friend's house on foot. It was about 4 km from the program location to my friend's house. While walking alone, I encountered police patrolling the area. I was scared, but once again, God helped me. I saw a house on the side of the road and went there, standing in front of it and looking at my mobile. The police thought I had come from that house for fresh air, so they left without saying anything. I reached my friend's house around 2:30 AM and called him. I stayed there that night.

These are some memories that I am sharing with you.
